Designer in Residence Program
at the AIBI Fashion Lab

A Designer in Residence will:

- gain paid Membership with AIBI, and full access to the Fashion Lab and all Business of Fashion seminars for the calendar year.

- develop a personal development goal to work on during their residency, focused on skills and/or business growth.

- present their process via social media posts and through AIBI's YouTube Channel.

The 2023 Designer in Residence Scholarship competion will open in Spring of 2022. For more information, email Member Services.

Meet our 2022 Designer in Residence:
Blair Goldman

Blair Goldman is a self-taught sewist passionate about creating sustainable fashion and art through a wide variety of fiber and textile mediums.

 

She currently works as a production assistant and sewing instructor at Høvet Fashion Studio, as well as a production assistant at Goli June Bridal. Blair is committed to teaching and learning sustainable, inclusive, and accessible fashion. She also has a thing for the M&Ms in the green bag.

Maximize your resources by pattern making, cutting, and stitching your garments yourself in the AIBI Fashion Lab. Use of the Lab is available to rent by the day or save with the monthly pass.
