For nearly four decades, Apparel Industry Board, Inc. (AIBI) has been a cornerstone of Chicago’s fashion and apparel ecosystem. We support designer-entrepreneurs from concept to commercialization through education, mentorship, and access to Chicagoland manufacturing resources.

AIBI bridges creativity and production—helping fashion businesses launch, scale, and sustain locally while strengthening the regional apparel economy.
Our shared manufacturing and innovation space, The Fashion Lab, features TUKAcad technology, professional-grade industrial sewing and finishing equipment, and expert instruction led by industry professionals and educators.
